West End Workshop

brings the stars and magic of London’s West End to North Wales.

A once-in-a-lifetime weeklong Workshop gives young people with a passion for performing the unique opportunity to be taught by stars from theatreland’s top shows.

Designed especially for 8 – 21 year olds, the workshop culminates in a live performance of scenes from some of the West End’s biggest shows in front of family and friends!

Dates

Monday 24th July – Friday 28th July 2017

Each day begins at 10am and finishes at 5pm. The week ends with a short performance in front of family and friends at Venue Cymru’s Conference Centre.

Broadway Babies

Broadway Babies is five-day theatre workshop for 4-7 year olds that runs along side the West End Workshop. It covers exactly the same as the full workshop, but is tailored for our younger performers. They will rehearse from 10am – 1pm everyday, culminating a performance in front of friends and family at Venue Cymru at the end of the week.

Fees

Places on our unique West End Workshop cost just £195 for the five days tuition and a showcase performance. However, if 2 or more siblings attend at the same time, the first child will pay £195 and the 2nd and 3rd etc. will then pay £150 each.

Broadway Babies places are £95 for the week (with 2nd and 3rd child paying £50 each). Timings for Broadway Babies are from 10am -1pm each day.

Payment can either be made via Online Bank Transfer to the details found on our booking form or via Cheque, which you will need to post to us along with your application. When making an Online Transfer, please remember to include the student name as a reference.

VENUE

The West End Workshop is held at Venue Cymru. This performing arts center provides the perfect environment and facilities in which our students can learn and be creative.

Venue Cymru is located on the promenade of Llandudno. Its facilities include purpose built studios, rehearsal rooms, social areas and state of the arts theatre – all used during the Workshop’s day.

Tutors

All our tutors are working in the West End or have worked in the West End previously. Past tutors have performed in shows such as Les Misrables, Cats, Wicked, Shrek, Mary Poppins, Matilda and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

All tutors are vetted and DBS checked.
